Where is your Firewise Community in the Cobb Area?

SSCRA has been supporting the Cobb Area Council in forming Firewise Communities(R) since 2018. Back then, the Cobb Area Council divided its administrative region into six (6) geographic groups to help neighborhoods get started. Since that time, SSCRA has introduced the Cobb Area Community-Based Fuel Reduction Program, a grant to help homeowners clear defensible space around their homes and exits, co-produced and -hosted semi-annual community fire safety workshops, and provided advice and guidance to additional neighborhoods and coordination services for the existing Firewise Communities.
