Founded in 2015 in the weeks following the catastrophic Valley Fire in Northern California, the SSCRA team continues to fill key roles in the evolution of our community, helping to build local prosperity, solidarity, and resilience.
SSCRA helps small, well-defined communities use their best assets to build and enhance their capacity to partner effectively with government and nonprofit agencies in envisioning and realizing a local and comprehensive vision of resilient, sustainable and regenerative development.
SSCRA helps communities of 3-5,000 people build the capacity to self-organize, take best advantage of local assets, and be positioned to access outside resources.
